by Cindy McLean |
| Cindy is a mom of two daughters aged 13 & 15 and has a home based online business
consisting of a website and an eBay store. She teaches classes in rubber stamping and enjoys
sharing new techniques with other crafters. Cindy says "Through different events in my life, I have
learned to be positive even when others discourage me, & work to motivate myself & others,
including my children, to strive for fulfillment & joy of life". She has had a long history of
writing short pieces for online groups and is in the process of writing a fiction novel. "Writing,
to me, is the form of relaxation and self examination I enjoy the most." |

Decorative Papers
There are many types of fun papers to mat your stamped images. Heres
a few of my favorites :
Mulberry Paper - This fibrous paper is a beautiful accent for any
background. By dampening edges of paper with your finger dipped in water, or using an aqua brush,
then gently pulling, you create a feathered edge effect.
Vellum - Stamp your image onto
this translucent paper. Let dry or use embossing powder to raise the image. Turn paper over &
color in image with colored pencils or markers. The result will be a stained glass look image. Use
a gold marker to edge for a more elegant finished look.
