| Is the best advice today It's tragic and unfair To let past ills interfere With the promise of tomorrow. Too much sorrow brings hesitation And doubt can destroy ambition Do not dwell on the past With tears that must not last. Go forward with all your strength Give the devil his due But do not lose out on any breath Cry, but don't forget your cue. The past will not be moved By a fast that lasts and lasts Things change with deeds, not tears Mistakes can be corrected But not while tears continue fear. |
