Election Is Over

There's no going back and changing
the outcome.
But this is the time to move on.
Maybe if both sides would now put
as much energy into working for
the good of the country as they did
campaigning maybe the country can
heal and become united.

Why do we have to be involved in a
constant tug of war with each other?
Why can't we just shake hands, roll up
our sleeves and try to find a way to be
friends and to work together?

Yes, the election is over and I'm glad.
It's time for our country to start healing.
We aren't children anymore.
No more fighting and arguing and saying
hurtful things to each other.
Time to as Larry the Cable guy says....
"Git R Done"!
Time to bring peace back to the country
we are so fortunate to be part of.
