Do you currently buy Fish Oil, Glucosamine, Chrondritin, MSM, Vitamins or other nutritional supplements from your local Wal Mart, KMart or Health Food Store?
Well, those days may be coming to a close.
For over 10 years now I've been aware of a movement to, in effect, redefine these supplements as drugs and make them available only through prescriptions.
That means if you need to take Ester C for your cold as I do and take 3000mg a day you probably won't be able to do so, or if you can it'll cost you many times what you pay now. Why? Because you'll have to go to your doctor and get a prescription and then go to the pharmacy and pick them up.
This will cost a lot more money not to mention all the extra wasted time and effort. And, chances are, we will al be limited in the dosage we can get....For instance my Ester C would probably now come in only 100mg tablets and I'd be limited on how many I could get....so I wouldn't be able to knock out my cold in a couple of days like I do now (providing I catch it early)....
I was getting lured into the impression that the movement was dead. No such luck, it's still very much alive and in fact is going into effect in Europe soon.
And, with all the trade agreements we are into and are going to be getting into can it be long before it happens here?
Well, it will unless we, the American People, let our desires be known. Write your political representatives (you can find them right here on this website in fact) and let them know you don't want this to happen.

Haven't we already lost enough rights people? When are we going to start standing up for ourselves?
I'm reminded of a writing I once saw about the groups in pre-world war II Germany. The jist of it was a guy saying things like "They came for this group and I wasn't a member so I didn't do anything" and they listed a bunch of groups.....Each time he did nothing....after a while they came for him and there was no one left to help....That's not a perfect analogy but I think it makes my point.
